Objectifs de la formation
This training allows to gain the required knowledge to design instrument approach charts (IAC, SID, STAR) from an AIM environment.
- Know the basics related to procedure design (how the procedure designer works before sending the data to be published)
- Know what data is required to produce a chart
- Know how the required data are prepared and digitized
- Know and use the required tools
Prérequis
Basic knowledge on ATM and airports, basic knowledge on GIS.

- Procedure and Airspace Design
- Impact of procedures on airport accessibility

- Inventory of all the required data to produce the charts
- Preparation of geographical data+
- Presentation of AIXM & temporality concepts
- Practical examples of using the AIXM model

- On-Job training: Chart production using GIS and AIM tools
