Résumé
Appreciate the different concepts of airport passenger terminal buildings (PTBs) and analyse the key points for PTB project design studies and for PTB operation processor optimization.
Objectifs de la formation
After completing this module, you will be able to :
- Evaluate the different concepts of airport passenger terminal buildings (PTB),
- Explain their main characteristics and functions, and the principles for managing passenger and baggage flows
- Explain the sizing/capacity assessment techniques of PTBs
- Determine the key parameters affecting PTBs capacity, PTBs sizing, level of service and customer experience for passengers
- Describe the different specific airport systems (baggage systems, security systems, apron equipment)
- Compare different design projects of a PTB
- Highlight the major stakeholders involved in a PTB design and build project
- Anticipate the future trends in airport PTB design
