This course focus on communication strategy to be developed in the first hours and days following a major air accident.

After completing this course, you will know how to respond to a crisis linked to a major event involving stakeholders of the international aviation community.

  • The Media and aircraft accidents / major incidents.
  • An aircraft accident: The carrier's roles and responsibilities to manage the “consequences”.
  • The role of an “emergency service company".
  • The role of the Insurer : how does an insurer rate the safety of a company ?
  • The airport : How does an airport prepare itself to cope with a “crisis” ?
  • The investigation into the causes of the accident : the investigation Authority.
  • Air transport safety: progress over the years.
  • The role of the manufacturer : how does a manufacturer constantly improve the safety of its aircraft ?

Methods : lectures, visit of a crisis management center and case study
